Panduan Lengkap Install Pika OS Dual-Boot Windows 11 + rEFInd + BLS_BOOT

• Semua perintah adalah standard Linux / sysadmin

1️⃣ Kondisi Awal PC

[ESP Windows] [MSR] [C: Windows] [Recovery] [D: Data] [Unallocated 150GB]

Target akhir:

[ESP Win] [MSR] [C] [Recovery] [D] 
[ESP Pika] [BLFS_BOOT] [ / (root) ] [swap] [ /home]

2️⃣ Persiapan

• Backup D: dan file penting

• Matikan Fast Startup Windows

• Buat USB bootable Pika OS (GPT/UEFI)

• Siapkan 150GB unallocated untuk Pika OS

3️⃣ Boot ke Installer Pika OS

• Masuk BIOS → pilih USB Pika OS → Boot

• Live installer muncul → pilih Install Pika OS

4️⃣ Partisi Manual

Di 150GB unallocated, buat:

1. ESP untuk Pika OS

   • Size: 512MB

   • Format: FAT32

   • Flag: EFI System Partition

   • Mount: /boot/efi

2. BLS_BOOT (Kernel)

   • Size: 1–2 GB (minimal 1GB)

   • Format: ext4

   • Mount: /blfs_boot

3. Root (/)

   • Size: 50–80 GB

   • Format: ext4

   • Mount: /

4. Swap

   • Size: 4–8 GB

   • Type: swap

5. Home (/home)

   • Sisa space

   • Format: ext4

   • Mount: /home

⚠️ Jangan gunakan ESP Windows untuk Pika OS

5️⃣ Install Pika OS

• Lanjutkan installer

• Buat user & password

• Installer otomatis pakai /blfs_boot untuk kernel

• Pastikan ESP Pika dipilih untuk bootloader

6️⃣ Install rEFInd

sudo apt update
sudo apt install refind
sudo refind-install

• Pastikan terinstall di ESP Pika OS

• /boot/efi/EFI/refind muncul

7️⃣ Daftarkan rEFInd ke NVRAM

1. Cek disk ESP:

lsblk

2. Cek boot entries:

sudo efibootmgr

Install rEFInd

sudo apt update
sudo apt install refind
sudo refind-install

• Pastikan terinstall di ESP Pika OS /boot/efi/EFI/refind

Daftarkan rEFInd ke NVRAM

lsblk             # cek ESP
sudo efibootmgr    # cek boot entries
sudo efibootmgr --create --disk /dev/nvme0n1 --part 7 --label "rEFInd Pika OS" --loader '\EFI\refind\refind_x64.efi'
sudo efibootmgr -o 0002,0000  # 0002=rEFInd, 0000=Windows

🔁 Rollback / Jika rEFInd Error

1. Masuk BIOS → ubah boot order → pilih Windows Boot Manager

2. Boot ke Windows → reinstall rEFInd dari Live USB Pika OS

3. Jika perlu → hapus entry rEFInd di NVRAM:

sudo efibootmgr -b XXXX -B

(XXXX = boot number rEFInd)

🧠 Troubleshooting

• Windows hilang di rEFInd → cek /boot/efi/EFI/Microsoft & NVRAM entry

• Pika OS tidak muncul → cek mount /blfs_boot dan ESP Pika

• Boot loop → gunakan rollback (ubah boot order di BIOS)

8️⃣ Reboot & Verifikasi

• rEFInd muncul

• Ada ikon Windows & Pika OS

• Pika OS boot → cek /blfs_boot mounted

• Windows boot normal → dual-boot sukses

9️⃣ Tips Pemula

• BLS_BOOT wajib 1GB+, jangan merge dengan /

• Jangan hapus ESP Windows

• Jangan rename folder EFI Microsoft

• Backup sebelum utak-atik EFI

• Reboot tiap step untuk cek stability
